Re: Proxy configuration crashes

I had a similar problem some times ago: in some companies there is a different proxy for each protocol --- i.e. the FTP proxy is not the same as the HTTP proxy. However MikTeX has the issue that it can handle only the situation as the same proxy is handling all the protocols. So :

1) you must configure the HTTP proxy for MikTeX
2) you must select a repo using HTTP, not FTP.
