Help

I have  created a graphics  file foo.tex which contains shading and color. I want to create foo.eps and followed these steps:
  1. TeX foo.latex which creates foo.dvi
  2. pdfTex foo.dvi
The resulting file foo.pdf contains the picture as I intended it to be.

After ste 1, I used dvips which creates foo.ps. When I view it with ghostview the shading is present, but the color has been  blacked out, Any idea?
