Help: Problem with EPS placement.

Hello,
I have been having problems with EPS placement since recently updating my
installations of MikTex 2.9.

EPS figures are not being placed properly in the PDF after being converted
from DVI. Figure placement is as expected in the DVI.

It appears to be a problem with dvipdfm, but I do not have enough knowledge
to have an informed opinion.

Is there anything that can be done to address this problem?
