Hi, I'm a blind LaTeX user as well.

Round-tripping word to latex to word is unlikely to have full fidelity.
That said, there's a package called tex4ht that does conversions from
latex into html and OpenOffice format. htlatex and oolatex commands
respectively. Office should be able to read these, I believe, and
possibly to write them.
