No this not what you should do. 

You already spent a day installing texsystems which didn't solve
your problem. This is completly unnessary. From you tex.sx question
I gather that your only problem was (not sure what it is now) some
outdated package and perhaps a wrong biber.exe. Both can be easily
corrected -- even if package manager or update manager fails: one
can always install manually. 

But it is only possible to help you effectivly if you give enough
and exact information - and if don't change your system before
someone who understand what is wrong has had a chance to tell you

The first step is a minimal example that demonstrates the problem
and its log-file.
