Re: MikTeX blocking IP very quickly

Sometimes it is necessary to work on machines 
that NEVER have Internet connection but can accept
usual exchangeable media.

In such cases, the only solution is to download the whole set
of distribution files and place it on a local server. 
If this option is missing in current MikTeX distribution, then
the Community should force MikTeX developers to provide it.

Similar situation exists in OpenSUSE Linux distribution.
To avoid problems, in addition to 4.5 GB DVD disk I downloaded
15 GB from OpenSUSE site and arranged local repository.
I prefer to feel independent, as far as it is reasonable and possible.
