Re: Miktex Full Installer

Yes.  The exact wording the times I have installed was given as
a choice between "basic install," and "full install" just as OP said.  But
for many years now it has been recommended to do only the basic install and
get missing packages on the fly.  That becomes better and better advice as
MiKTeX gets larger and computers and the web get generally faster.

I do not know if the "full install" option still exists.  So I second the
OP's question.
