Re: Miktex Full Installer

It's not helping that answers keep referring to programs which do not exist. There is no such thing as the "Standard Installer" (the closest would be Basic MiKTeX, and it doesn't provide the options you're referring to). 

There are three installer *packages*: Basic MiKTeX, the Net Installer and MiKTeX Portable (and there are x86 and x64 versions of Basic and Net, giving a total of 5 setup packages)

"Full Install" is, and I think may always have been, a setup option in the Net Installer. It makes no sense for the Basic Installer to offer a Full Install; that would contradict the word "Basic".

Basic MiKTeX 2.9.5105 asks you to accept the copying conditions, whether to install for all users or just you, where to install to, your preferred paper size and what to do with extra packages.

Net Installer 2.9.4601 asks you to accept the conditions and then asks if you want "Basic MikTeX" (which would cause it to do the same thing as the Basic MiKTeX installer, except it will need to download the packages from a mirror) or "Complete MiKTeX". It then proceeds with the same requests as the Basic installer.

So, as I said in the first place, if you're after a Full MiKTeX installation, you want the Net Installer. As far as I'm aware, if you want obsolete/hidden packages, you'll need to use MiKTeX Settings after installation.
