Re: Latest update of LaTeX causes problems with flafter

Thanks for the explicit suggestion. I did as you suggested (updated the
formats). The update ran fine. But the problem with flafter remains: the
error message is the same as the one I quoted in my earlier email. When I do
not load flafter.sty, the error message does not appear and the (rather
complicated, 1000+ page) LaTeX document (a book) I'm working on runs through
to completion. Unfortunately, this book contains an enormous number of
figures, so I really need to use flafter. Is there anything else I can try?
