You can move the whole bin tree (...\miktex\bin) out of the way (or remove it). The next update wizard run will then repair your installation by downloading the binaries. The update wizard is a standalone program (statically linked). You can download the x64 variant here: http://mirrors.ctan.org/systems/win32/miktex/tm/packages/miktex-bin-x64-2.9.tar.lzma It is enough to extract miktex-update_admin.exe (or miktex-update.exe for single user installations). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
