Dear list, after the last update I got the fontspec (setmainlang) error that was also discussed here. I even installed the latest updates from early August. I could not avoid the problem by playing with the MikTeX administration tools. On one machine running Windows 10 64-bit, I solved this problem by completely purging the MikTeX install (that was a 32-bit version) and making a clean install of MikTeX 64-bit. It works even with the latest updates. On other machine, running Windows 7 32-bit, I made the same process as on the previous one but installed MikTeX 32-bit. After the upgrade, the problem persists. Maybe there is something in the MikTeX 32-bit installation that gets it broken? Thank you for any help.
