Re: MikTeX, experience in win 10

I can add one more remark. For some reason TeXworks has very long time to start in win 10.

Subject: experience in win 10
 
I can share my experience in win 10; however I cannot tell for sure the problem relates to win 10, or this was some changes in MikTeX 2.9.
 
Very often when I try to update MikTeX, I had error which crashed update at start. First time I waited reboot to repeat operation. However frequent reading of emails gave me other idea. I decided to start settings to update formats. But settings was not able to do this operation. It reported me that some files are locked. Initially it was for me strange. But later I realized. I closed TeXworks. After this I was able to update formats and then run update.
It is interesting that I need to do this procedure even I updated formats before and did not run updates after.
There is one more change in TeXworks that I put attention. I use TeXworks to view PDF file, because Adobe locks file for update. Usualy TeXworks remember size of window which I used for particular file and opens the same window next time. However if no PDF file is open, TeXworks opens small window and I resize it.
