Dear MiKTeXers, I sent you a message on December 23, 2015. (See the end of this message.) It was my problem that I had received the error message Internal error (1) when I wanted to update my 32 bit MiKTeX installation. (Windows 7 64 bits). Since then I have reinstalled MiKTeX32 which works perfectly. However when I started again the Update icon (as an administrator) I got other error message: Internal error (121) I have no idea what is wrong. Should I always reinstall MiKTeX if I want to update? Any help would be highly appreciated. With kind regards G. Szeidl ------------------------------------------------------------------ Dear MiKTeXers, After refreshing my MiKTeX9 (32) bit directory by using the program setup-2.9.5721.exe I wanted to update my installation. According to the log file the downloading was OK. When clicking on the icon MiKTeX Update Admin I got an error message Internal error (1) My installation is a complete installation under Windows 7 (64) bit. I remark that I regularly update my installation in this manner (last time one and a half month ago) and this is the first time for my receiving an error message. What might be the problem? Thank you for any advice in advance. (Should I reinstall MiKTeX?) With kind regards G.
