I may have figured this out. I was logged in to my Admin account (in order to use TeXworks) and was modifying my TeXworks Configuration files with my custom settings (Templates, mostly). When I went to apply this to the (not-yet-working) Standard User Profile, I noticed there was no TeXworks, or even MiKTeX, folders in the Profile, as though MiKTeX was installed "For Current User" instead of "For All Users". I'll do a re-install later today, and if this fixes the problem, will post again here. Bob Schor [About an hour later ...] That appears to have been the problem. I uninstalled MiKTeX, deleted all of the MiKTeX folders, re-installed it (this time making sure to do it "For All Users" - don't recall what I did when I built this system a few weeks ago), and can now open TeXworks in both my Standard User and Administrator accounts. All's Appears to be Well that Ends Well.
