I had no problems with the last update. But I have a 32bit miktex
and also only a single user installation.

Check at first if everything is really up-to-date:

Run the package managers (admin + user) and synchronize their
package list (menu repositories). Then check if they show some new
packages that you don't have installed but could be relevant and
install them.

Then run the update managers (admin + user) again. 

If the problem persists make a bug report:
