I suppose that this is not necessary.  There is probably a simple
solution.  lambda is the LaTeX based on omega.  Omega is an extension
to tex and it does not know anything about PDF.

That would mean that everything you want is already available.

Can you create a .tar.gz file from /usr/share/doc and make it
available (ftp or http)?

I have now informed the authors of the files I found where the value
of \pdfoutput is not tested.  Let's see what happens.
