Not really. (Explanation: the --picky option will make dvipng skip pages 
where
there are problems, like unknown specials.)

I find it strange that omega would add these specials without an 
explicit user
request. Or was there something in your call that switched some option 
on, David?
Perhaps it is some well-documented behaviour? In that case I'd appreciate a
pointer to the appropriate documentation.

I will add the one-liner needed to ignore this or output a message (not a
warning) like 'omega:lines="circutf.tex",57;' if I get some indication 
on what
would be the expected behaviour. There are no means available to include 
this
kind of information into a PNG, so these are the two suggestions I have.

I have up til now had no requests to adjust dvipng for omega. Would 
there be
reason to do further adjustments? (This discussion does not really 
belong on
the tetex list, where do we take it?)
