TeTex 3.0 - Regarding KDVI

kdvi has some problems interpreting international symbols. Regular LaTeX 
packages
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[cp1250]{inputenc}
produce special symbols in the place of \v{c}, \'{c}, ... common in 
European languages. Both dvi files produced by TeTeX or MiKTeX fail to 
render correctly in kdvi. I need kdvi and not xdvi because it has 
inverse search and xdvi has not.

I am using kdvi version 1.3 comming with Fedora Core (a RedHat compiled?)

It says something like:
"File coruption...
Details.-> DVI code set a character of an unknown font."

So, what will come first:
  1. kdvi becomes better or
  2. xdvi gets inverse search?

I need inverse search very much and that is why i need TeTeX 2 or TeTeX 
3. I was considering switching to Fedora 4 (from RHEL3) only because 
TeTeX 3 comes with Fedora. Is there a TeTeX 3 rpm built for RHEL3? 
Source rpm from Fedora 4 can not be used on RHEL3 because of xorg <-> 
xfree incompatibility (on the source level). I myself am not expert 
enough to make rpm by myself. Or, can somebody help me?

Does anybody else use TeTeX 3 on RedHat platform?

I guess kdvi will have the same problem with international fonts on RHEL3.
