Address font in envlab.

I am trying to use the envlab package to print addresses onto
envelopes.  The package seems to have upper case hardwired into it. I
would like to have the addresses appear in "ordinary" font.  Is there
any way to achieve this.  I have looked into the package manual a bit
and can see no way.
