Hi Walt,

    I am trying to read an old email or two with short tex attachments.
    The email is dated approximately  March 10, 2026.

I see nothing posted to texhax between March 9 and March 11.

what is the url, and what are the attachments you're trying to read?
(Irritatingly, the msg dates are not given in the summary, but that's life.)

    Is there something I can do here; or are the email attachments
    really gone?

If the attachments were posted to a public mailing list, they are still
available, somewhere/somehow. You could also try download the plain text
gzipped archive for the month (so far) at
https://tug.org/pipermail/texhax/2026-March.txt.gz
