makeinfo html is much better today. But I still find texi2html better,
especially it is much easier to configurate it to produce different html, 
it is possible to split at various points, there are more various links,
TeX may be rendered by latex2html and the resulting html is valid.

Karl Berry, the makeinfo maintainer asked me what I found better in 
texi2html, and he is willing to implement all the features of texi2html
in makeinfo, but I think it won't be soon.
