Halloechen!

Is the way

    texi --------> DocBook XML --------> LaTeX
         Makeinfo              db2latex

lossless compared with

    texi --------> texinfo.dtd XML ---> LaTeX
         Makeinfo                  ???

I wonder whether it's worth creating this ??? thing, or whether I
just wait for real DocBook XML output and use db2latex.

Or is there a third way to get LaTeX?
