No, it's a reasonably sized item compared to what we leave for the
next release. ;)
@-command expansion can be a part of the argument parsing oriented
refactoring of command_table in cmds.c. That will be the one of the
first things I'll start after the release. We may as well include
information regarding expansions in @node and @xref commands. Hope
I'm clear. :)
I skimmed the makeinfo sources and as far as I can understand,
changes are needed in:
- html.c:
add_link, add_escaped_anchor_name, add_anchor_name,
add_url_name, fix_filename, nodename_to_filename_1,
add_nodename_to_filename, nodename_to_filename
- node.c:
expand_node_name, cm_node, cm_anchor
- xref.c:
all of the cm_*ref (except maybe cm_uref)
Can anybody remember a pitfall I should avoid, regarding these?
Patrice, can you please write a simple texi document that we can
both test against? (ie. an @xref command, and the expected output.)
