@dmn seems sufficient to me for inserting a thin space.  Just having
another name for the command doesn't seem very important.  Few people
even know it exists, or care about it if they do.  The very concept of
"thinspace" is not logical markup.  That's life.

One thing, Red@dmn{}Hat will end up as RedHat in the Info file.  Doesn't
seem right, but the space would not be desired in IE@dmn{}6, etc.

I suppose we could have another command that makes a thinspace in the
TeX output and a space in the Info output.  Ick.
