I found your example strange - stopping at step 2 kind of - so I don't really
understand what you want, but maybe this is what you want:

\usepackage{hyperref}

tplists is an experimental extension to texpower - part of the texpower bundle from
version 0.1b. Get it from
 <http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=60743> 
(or CTAN). If you have MiKTeX the newest version is available through MPM.
