Hello Hans,

thanks for the swift reply. Actually: No ;) - what listenum does, is
analogous to the lower example of my first mail, with the step outside=20
the enumerate environment:

\documentclass[30pt,landscape]{foils}

\usepackage[colorhighlight,whitebackground,display]{texpower}
\usepackage{tplists}
\usepackage[pdftex]{geometry}
\usepackage{hyperref}
\geometry{headsep=3D3ex,hscale=3D0.9}

\renewcommand{\rmdefault}{pbk}
\renewcommand{\sfdefault}{pag}
\renewcommand{\ttdefault}{pcr}

\begin{document}
\centering
\foilhead[-\baselineskip]{Agenda}

\liststepwise[\let\hidestepcontents=3D\hidedimmed]{%
\step{
\begin{enumerate}[4cm]
\item eins
\step{\item zwei}
\step{\item drei}
\step{\item vier}
\end{enumerate}
}
}
\end{document}

What I need, is not the consecutive undimming of ALL items, but just of
ONE of my choosing (I want to visualize where in the agenda I am right
now...):

First foil (ALL items and enumeration numbers dimmed):

1. eins
2. zwei
3. drei
4. vier

Next foil (the present position in agenda hilighted):

1. eins <- item AND enumeration number stay dimmed
2. zwei <- e.g. just THIS item and its enumeration number hilighted
3. drei
4. vier

The upper example in my first mail achieves this by cropping off the later
undimming steps, but only works with all enumeration numbers hilighted
=66rom the start (as I cannot move the first \step outside the enumerate
environment like above because of the redefinition of \value{step}, what=20
the lower example in my first mail illustrates).

Hope I made the problem a little clearer now,
