Hello, Thanks for your reply. I am using pdflatex for producing the pdf file. I am using acroread-4.05-6 in my linux and tested the pdf file in windows acrobat reader 4 and 5. All the fonts except one is type 1 fonts. The info reads like this. MatisseI Type 1 Windows Embedded Subset Type 1 CMSSBX10 Type 1 Builtin do do CMSS12 do do do do stmary10 do do do do stmary9 same as the above line CMSS17 same as the above line CMSS10 same as the above line CMSS10 same as the above line CMSS9 same as the above line Further list of all fonts. CMSY10 Type 1 builtin Arial,Bold do windows Helvetica do standard Helvetica-Bold do standard CMBX10 d0 builtin CMSY8 type 1 Times-Italic type 1 CMSSI10 do CMSY6 do CMR6 do CMBX9 do Times-BoldItalic d0 CMR9 do CMTI9 d0 A type 3 custom(encoding) A (used font) type 3 Arial type 1 Times-Bold type 1 CMBX12 do LucidaConsole do I do not have much idea of the fonts and all.
