	Thanks for the reply. I was suspecting that it might
be because I was using some ps related commands. So is
there packages around which could be used as the
equivalent of fancyhdr for pdflatex (basically any
package which provides macros to make the job of
making custom headers and footers easier). 

I will also remove \usepackage{epsfig} from my file
:-))).
