Actually I did find a scenario where this is a problem: it is not uncommon
to setup automated builds of CVS snapshots for projects. In those setups
you direct all stdout to /dev/null so you only get email if a build
failed. This does not work if recipe errors are send to stdout, since
they will not be seen.
