OK.  It's very confusing that "-L" means something completely different
on other systems.

If you use the CVS-browse function on SourceForge you can see the patch
was included.  I don't know why "cvs diff" whould not use it.  Perhaps
it's using another CVS server that lags behind for a week or so.
