About the docs

Is there any particular reason the docs are written in SGML docbook, as
opposed to XML docbook? As far as I know, all you need to convert XML docbook
to something sensible is xsltproc, whereas SGML needs the much heavier jade.
(Admittedly, I'm coming from the KDE camp, and have all the tools for the
docs for that invisibly installed, so XML docbook seems "free" to me). I'll
do the conversion if that helps any; the XML docbook files and stylesheets
that I know of (all from KDE) are either GPL or LGPL, so they should be
usable for AAP as well.
