The rpms for Red Hat 9/8.0 have been synced to 0.5.19:

Please report success or failure of these rpms on other platforms
(preferably with patches ;)

The best way to deal with the whole lot of dependencies is to install
via apt-get or yum. Installation instructions can be found at

         http://atrpms.physik.fu-berlin.de/

Old releases have been removed from the main site to concur with
zap2it's request. Please upgrade.
