Sure there are no new films/programmes after Dec 2017, and no fixes/changes, but it does still have value. Things like programme synopsis/MPAA ratings/star ratings are still useful for films which are in the final snapshot. I think keeping tv_imdb around whilst the archived data is still available, or until a utility to use an equivalent up-to-date service is written, makes sense. The data might not be being updated but it's still useful. Development effort on tv_imdb has been essentially zero for a long time. +1 for notifying users about the fact the data is no longer updated. Including Geoff's thoughts, this could be done via: i) the utility at runtime ii) POD iii) release notes iv) a message when installing XMLTV via package @robert: thoughts? Thanks, Nick
