Unfortunately some old eps are shown as "Have I Got News For You" and
some as "Have I Got Old News For You" with seemingly no logic (episodes
in the same season are shown with either title, so it doesn't seem to be
a cut-off date thing). So your user recording just "Have I Got News For
You" in the hope of getting new eps only, is already getting (some) old eps.
Anyway, we don't usually rename program titles just because they are
repeats, e.g. "Mock the Old Week", "Old QI", so I don't see why HIGNFY
should be different.
I agree that "Bit More" should be titled differently, just like "QI XL",
as it is different content, but the other two titles are for exactly the
same content and same on-screen title.
