I have missed programmes in the past usually by setting the old
programme titles to record, reporting the problem/requesting a "fix
up" and then forgetting to set a new recording rule for the "proper"
title!

The key I think is to try to report them as soon as they are seen as
this means less people will have used the "wrong" title.

I think MythTV does list programmes set to record that are no longer
in the guide data (perhaps single records only?) so you can pick up on
some changes but if you are like me you never notice them (dependant
on theme).

Perhaps there could be option to disable the "fix up" in the grabber
but you are then loosing out on fixes for the small chance of a
missing recording.

Generally I prefer the more consistent titles.
