Hi Nick,

I did contact the maintainer and as far as he is concerned its not a packaging 
error, in as much as the perl updates that should have been passed from 
testing to main, have been in testing far too long and suggests that I do

yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing perl

to get the newer perl and then xmltv should update....

I wonder what your thoughts are ?? How would it effect perl-mythtv etc
