How would it effect perl-mythtv etc Whilst I know very little about Fedora packaging, that answer explains why your system does not have Perl 5.12.4 installed but it does not explain why the XMLTV packages have been built with a requirement for Perl 5.12.4 to be installed, which we do not believe exists.
