Using XMLTV with xmltv2vdr Plugin

Hi.
I'm building a new VDR and moving to the new XMLTV2VDR plugin, that 
apparently supports XMLTV.
I created and configured a tv_grab_uk_rt grabber and that pulls the 
listings OK.
Now, the Plugin calls the grabber directly with the following parms:

  tv_grab_uk_rt 5 '' 0  bbcfour.bbc.co.uk

Currently I am asking VDR to only provide the EPG for BBC4.

So it looks like the grabber cannot understand this call, and I get a 
RC=1 in VDR.

Does anyone have the VDR plugin working together with XMLTV via a pipe?

I know that I could call XMLTV  myself and have it write an XML file,  
and then tell the plugin
to read that file. But this looks like a good solution, via shared 
memory if I understand correctly.

A second XMLTV question: The UK RT grabber gets far more channels than I 
need, what is the correct
way to configure it so that it collects data for less Channels?
