Hello again!

As you can imagine, our email from Monday was addressed to a significant
number of users. We are unable to respond individually to every message we
have received.

Thanks to those who have responded in a spirit of cooperation, by offering
to adjust or pause their use of our APIs, and even more so to those who've
already implemented changes. We note about two thirds of the users
contacted are still to make changes, and as such now have less than 4d
until their keys would be turned off.

For those who had questions or comments on our request, we hope the
information below my signature will be of use.

Thanks,
Chris

Objective

Our objectives at this point are:

1. To stop queries for more than 24 hours of data, which are resource
intensive to handle
2. To reaffirm our API terms and conditions, which are unchanged for some
time, and can be found here: https://atlas.metabroadcast.com/admin#/terms

It's obviously important that you comply with our terms, as with any legal
agreement, and we will be conducting further activity to ensure compliance
over the coming days.

Verification of changes

Due to the volume of users, we are unable to check the usage pattern of all
individual users.

We advise that you log the calls you are making to Atlas, and check that
the time between the from and to parameters of schedule calls is 24 hours
or less.

3rd party software

We are aware that many people make API calls using 3rd party software.

The service we provide is for developers, so we're unable to provide
information about, or support for, 3rd party software. We suggest you
contact the makers of this software where necessary.

Please do remember to abide by our terms of use.

Commercial use

For light commercial use, the API terms still apply and are clear about the
fees we'd charge. If you're in this group, and haven't spoken to us before/
recently about your exact usage, please get in touch ASAP via the contact
form in Atlas Admin, with details of your application, in addition to
making any required changes. This may lead to being invoiced. If we don't
hear from you, we will treat your key just like any other.

In case we learn your commercial use has recently gone above the bands
defined in the API terms, please get in touch ASAP via the contact form in
Atlas Admin, with a complete list of the API calls you're using, so we can
quote you full commercial fees. This will lead to invoicing. Lacking this,
we will treat your key just like any other.

Next steps

Please do change your use of the API.

Any API key making calls for more than 24 hours of data after 1800 on
Saturday will be suspended. Unfortunately we are unable to make any
exceptions to this rule, and we will not write with a further warning.

Contacting us

If you need to contact us with regard to any matter not addressed here,
please use the form here: https://atlas.metabroadcast.com/admin#/contact

You will be required you to log in. We recommend you access the form using
Google Chrome.

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
