Thanks Robert. Real life got in the way and I haven't been able to test this
until this morning. That current alpha version is working for me now on a
clean Windows 10 machine.

A couple of tweaks to the way that I'm using the grabber and I can then
answer a small number of questions for the community on how particular
programmes compare in Atlas versus SD.

Bear in mind I have ceased using Atlas/Metabroadcast, but before I did I
performed one last 14 day all channels in my lineup grab and I have that as
a sample to refer to. I also feel that because these listings are
intellectual properties belonging to others that I can't just post them on a
file-sharing service for people to look at themselves, so as a compromise
I'm willing to go out on a limb and declare that I'm doing this on an
academic basis where quoting up to 10% of a written work is acceptable under
copyright. So I will put snippets of XML on here for academic comparison
purposes as people request it.

So, someone asked about a specific programme: Videogame Nation. Here's
snippets of both... Sorry, I don't have over-lapping episode data but be
assured the "atlas_progid" is different from  the "dd_progid"

So those examples seem to confirm:

* The Atlas and SD programme IDs are different so anyone using these to
detect if they have a full collection of episodes will start seeing
duplication
* Perhaps both Atlas and SD have similarly generic descriptions of these
niche programmes. I suspect the Atlas/PA data might be a little more
comprehensive
* The SD data seems to be better as programmes are "closer in". At 14 days
out the descriptions seem quite terse, but at 7 days out there seems to be
more data available - now that's EXACTLY what I want from a 14 day EPG -
early warning that a programme is scheduled, THEN accurate data just before
the recording to tag the recording in my collection for future watching.

Anybody need any more examples? A "channels in the lineup" listing would be
very long to post on here, but I could answer specific questions about what
was in my Atlas download and is now in my SD subscription...

However - I urge you to try this yourself with the SD 2 day free trial offer
- that's not 2 days-worth of EPG data, that's 48 hours of access to the full
service which for some channels reaches out to the thick end of 14 days.
Robert's alpha version of xmltv.exe with tv_grab_sd_json is now working well
enough on Windows machines (thanks Robert!) for you to have a go yourself.
