bk revtool -r<nonexistent revision> appears to hang

Bitkeeper 3.2.3 Doing a bk revtool -r<version> where the version does not exist pegs the CPU and cannot be interrupted by ctrl-C, must use kill -9. bk revtool -l<nonexistent> is the same. bk changes -r<nonexistent> works as expected. Am I using it wrong? Unfortunately the help does not discuss revtool's cmdline options in any detail.
