Re: PPC/Linux version?

The latest yellowdog fails to install on some very vanilla stock hardware
from Apple.  The Fedora PPC builds, while not really a "standard", are not
too bad.

Yellowdog 3.0.1 has been pretty darn stable with bk for me.

} We ordered one of the nifty new Apple Mini Macs ($499 1.2Ghz) as a
} replacement for our aging 400Mhz imac.  We're looking to find a distro
} to install on it and Yellowdog 1.2 is what we are currently using.
} That's a glibc 2.1 system and we should probably move forward a bit.
} But it is up t you folks, we support this platform for the open source
} community and we'll install the oldest release which is still actively
} used.  My instinct is is to use Yellowdog 3.0.1 which is about 14 months
} old, I would guess that most developers are running a system at least
} that recent.  Is anyone not?
