I agree. I thought that we should devise to make people
find out each keyword substitution(and icon!) meanings,
and I thought if we don't create a new column, tool-tip text
might be better, but if we create a new column, "Encoding"
is better than my "Managed Type"...because it is intelligible.

I prefer it. (If I was asked which do I like after or
before, I'll answer `after'. Explaining should be ordered after
essential, I think.)

Yes. In fact, I was going to put it as main viewpoint,
then, considering the priority and the difficulty,
my subject have been that.
