Jerzy, I haven't had time to look at what you did to the code yet but I was able to compile fine and I'm already using the new build. I already noticed however that one high-priority task in this matter is still open: There are currently two identically labeled menu items "Edit selection"! This would be highly confusing to users and must be resolved before the next release. As I said before, I haven't been able to come up with something snappy myself yet. Any Ideas or suggestions? Furthermore, what are your thoughts on the DSA-popup I proposed earlier indicating how to set up edit associations the first time a user double-clicks a file? I don't think most users will be familiar with this and as I already noted, most "editor" apps do not set up such associations themselves. If we don't put in anything like that I already foresee the CVSGUI list being swamped for months to come with reports and questions about this as this constitutes a major behavioural change in a potentially very frequently used feature. I was even already thinking whether it might not be a good idea to even offer a simple one-step configuration UI for this as doing this via the OS dialogs could be quite awkward at times. I'll have to think about this latter bit some more though... maybe this could be done with a macro... for that we'll need a macro-accessible Browse-for-file dialog... I'll probably look into that anyway... Cheers, Oliver ---- ------------------ JID: [email protected] ICQ: 18777742 (http://wwp.icq.com/18777742) ------------------------ Yahoo!
