Claus,

It may actually be easier to implement the whole new view rather than
extending the graph as it is.

Maybe you can try using a combination of tree and list controls, something
like that:
http://www.codeproject.com/treectrl/treelist.asp

It has an advantage of being compact and thus allowing for more information
to be displayed and also lets you to collapse the branches you don't want to
see.

Another way would be to put the log information more horizontally, in a
typical list control, where it's easier to show more information. It's
easier to code and it gives very rich information.

If you find it easier to work on the graph then you are welcome to do so of
course. Any additional information display can be usefull in some
circumstances and once it can be turned off and on then there is no issue to
include it in the official release. There is a lot of room for improvement!

Best Regards,
Jerzy

Subject: [cvsgui-dev] Graph Display

Hello together,

I have feature request -
Yes I know this is for developers
only ... but let me tell ...

I am going to slightly rewrite
the graph option ...
so that the author and the
revision date and the
comment are displayed in the
graph.
So now I can do this only for me
hardcoded quick-and-dirty style
or the proper way for all ...
(I think the graph-options-Dialog can hold
some checkboxes more)

So the question is:
1.) Are you interested in this feature ?
2.) Is something else planned ? so I can give
up and wait for the next release ?
3.) Or to put it another way: What shall I do ?

Best regards
Claus
