Hello Guy, Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 1:46:18 AM, you wrote: GR> kaczoroj wrote: >> >> Guy, >> >> You should be able to checkin. Did you use ssh authentication? Can I use ssh-agent, or do I need to use pageant? Huh? Putty/Pagent are Windows tools. So AFAIK there is no Linux port. Here is my CVSROOT: :ext:<username>@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/cvsgui I have done the initial checkout via cmd line. Sometimes if ssh/CVSROOT is not configured well, sf.net responds with some messages pointing to the error. You will only see the full message text when on cmd line. Doing initial checkout via gCvs is not really tested :-( I'm using cvsnt on my unix flavored systems. It is necessary to have X11-Ask-Pass installed to get ssh working with gCvs, but on Linux this should be installed already. This brings up the message box for entering your password (if you didn't already install your public key to sourceforge). GR> Another bug: I tried on the Ports page of Preferences to select the GR> checkbox for alternate rsh name, it wouldn't let me check this until I GR> had checked For rcmd at the top. That's not a bug, i think. rsh is only useful if you use rcmd. But that's not the way accessing sf.net. -- Best regards, Richard mailto:[email protected] P.S. sorry for delayed answer, but it takes the mails at least fife(!!!) hour to pass over to Europe. Yahoo!
