No it is only a graphical frontend to ssh for requesting passwords
when an X11-application (without stdin/stdout) is using ssh.
But if you're on linux, it is preinstalled anyway.

Ah! I misunderstood. The dependency is wrong. It should not depend on
the port setting for rsh but on wether rsh is selected for the cvsroot
or not. But all that will go away if we switch to the alternate
CVSROOT-Handling as suggested by Jerzy. So I think there is no need to
change that at the moment...
