Automatic Refreshing

I just noticed that wincvs (ver 2.0.2.4 (Build 4)) is refreshing its 
frame automatically every 10 seconds.

(Don't know why I didn't notice that before; maybe it's just that I'm 
ornery enought to bite heads off today - and need to get some work 
done, instead of being bothered by the applications I have to use.)

Whose bright idea was that?

...and how do I turn it off?
