Any ideas? 1) You have set the root of the monitored tree to C:\ 2) You have closed WinCvs with the "Flat view" mode active These two will make this happen. Solution: 3) Hit the ESC key after starting WinCvs next time. It stops scanning. 4) Create a new browse location (View/Browse location/Change...) that is not the root of the drive. 5) Remove C:\ from the browse location list by opening the combo box and moving the mouse so that it is highlighted, then hit the Del key.
