Tagging method

Hi all

I am new to CVS and need to do the daily build and tag five folders ( folder
1, Folder 2, folder 3, Folder 4, Folder ) in the repository

I update the latest code of   these five folders on to my local PC and do
the build. After the successful build, I need to tag all these folders with
the daily tag name on to the repository

My client pulls the code from this tag for building and deployement.

I am not sure what command to use 

Option 1: cvs tag <daily tag name> folder 1 Folder 2 folder 3 Folder 4
Folder 5

Option 2: cvs rtag <daily tag name> folder 1 Folder 2 folder 3 Folder 4
Folder 5

 

Current I am using this tag cvs -z9 rtag  <daily tag name> folder 1 Folder 2
folder 3 Folder 4 Folder 5

 

When require I need to pull the code from the above tag

Kindly help me
